SONAX Special Cleaner
Phosphoric acid-based cleaner for acid-resistant surfaces; removes limescale, rust, and cement residue; safe for use with food.
Description
Wherever water is regularly present, limescale builds up—on stainless steel units, plastic trim, and washing equipment. This cleaner reliably removes these deposits, as well as rust stains, cement residue, and other inorganic contaminants. It also removes corrosion and oxidation layers from weathered aluminum and stainless steel.
The formulation is key to its effectiveness: The product is free of sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and bifluoride; it provides corrosion protection and is food-safe—making it suitable for cleaning tasks in food-contact areas. Despite its acidic nature, it remains highly compatible with materials. It is suitable for cleaning with floor scrubbers and washing brushes, as well as for use as an acidic shampoo.
Use undiluted or dilute up to a 1:3 ratio with water and apply using a pressure pump sprayer designed for acidic and alkaline products. Depending on the level of soiling, allow it to sit for five to ten minutes; treat heavily soiled areas with a brush, sponge, or pad, and then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
