SONAX Lead Substitute
Replaces the lubricating effect of lead and protects the valves in older gasoline engines from wear.
Description
Gasoline engines not designed for unleaded fuel did not require lead for knock protection, but rather as a lubricant for the valve seats. Without it, the valves wear out. This additive performs exactly this function: it lubricates and protects the valves against wear.
At the same time, it prevents deposits and ensures optimal engine performance—and it is the reason older engines can continue to run at all. This effectively prevents engine damage.
Hold the bottle upright and unscrew the cap a quarter turn for better ventilation, then dispense the additive.
