BSN Cutimed® Alginate Wound Process
Natural exudate management with high absorption assets
Details
Cutimed® alginate is an alginate made from natural sea algae, which consists of 20 % of calcium and 80 % sodium alginate. The carrier material is a semi -translucent non -woven fabric, which is coated on both sides with natural fibers from seaweed. An integrity layer contained in the product core gives the association improved wet stability. During the exchange of the calcium ions of the wound association with the sodium ions of the exudate, the alginate converts into a gel with fluid intake.
