It offers high tensile strength (105 N\/cm), excellent puncture resistance, and strong adhesion (4.6 N\/cm on steel), even at high temperatures up to 180 °C (30 min.). The tape is waterproof, colorfast, solvent-resistant, and abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for permanent applications. Thanks to its excellent tearability by hand, straight tear edge, and ease of use, it is ideally suited for the production of die-cut parts as well as for precise masking work. The standard version is PV0; additionally, a version with low unrolling (PV1) and a variant on a yellow glassine paper liner with a thickness of 76 µm (PV9) are available.
