composition
100 g of solution contain an anti-drug components: Propan-2-OL 70.0 g, ethanol 96% 9.9 g; Other components cleaned water, TetradeCan-1-OL, Cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph. EUR.), Sorbitol solution 70% (crystallizing) (Ph. EUR.), Dexpanthenol, Methylethylketon.application areasHygienic and surgical hand disinfection. The drug components propane-2-ol and ethanol act against bacteria (including mycobacteria), fungi* and many viruses. The effectiveness of Desmanol® Care against viruses includes enveloped viruses (classification "limited viruzid") **.
Contradictions
Desmanol® Care is not suitable for disinfection of open wounds, for the antiseptic of mucous membranes and for use in the immediate vicinity of the eye. Do not apply in the event of known hypersensitivity to one of the components.
Side effects
When rubbing the skin with Desmanol® Care, redness and light burning can occur. Allergic reactions (e.g. contact eczema) are also possible.
Warnings
Do not spray in open flame. Keep away from ignition sources. Flammable. Do not take! When eye contact, rinse the eyes with plenty of water immediately. Desmanol® Care contains cetylstearyl alcohol. *: according to DGHM/VAH guidelines **: Tested against test virus BVDV (surrogate virus for hepatitis-C virus) and Vakziniavirus. According to the current state of knowledge, the results allow the conclusions to be drawn about the effectiveness against other envied viruses, e.g. hepatitis-B virus, HI virus.
