The Hartmann Medicomp® non-sterile fleece compresses consist of a mixture of viscose and polyester fibers. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%, the remaining proportion consists of polyester fibers. The compresses are free of binding agents and optical brighteners, are permeable to air and are laid four times and are available in different sizes. The compresses can be unfolded if a larger format is required. The fleece compresses can be used as a primary wound dressing for injuries, for initial cleaning of wounds and for cleaning intact and injured skin, as a carrier material for external preparations (e.g. disinfectants, ointments), as a secondary wound dressing for acute and chronic wounds, for the absorption of body fluids and as mechanical Barrier can be used.
