Application

Ear measurement

The measurement can be taken in the right or left ear. The thermometer measures the infrared radiation emitted by the eardrum and ear canal. This radiation is recorded by the sensor and converted into temperature values. The best results are achieved by measuring infrared radiation in the middle ear (eardrum). The radiation emitted by the surrounding tissue results in lower readings

Forehead measurement

The thermometer measures the infrared radiation emitted by the skin in the forehead and temple area and the surrounding tissue. The radiation is recorded by the sensor and converted into temperature values. The most accurate readings are obtained by scanning the entire area from one temple to the other.
