The Dr. Schumacher DECONTAMAN CAP is a ready-to-use washing cap for antimicrobial cleansing of the hair and scalp. DECONTAMAN CAP enables time-saving, thorough cleaning, especially for immobile patients, without the need for rinsing with water. The antimicrobial effectiveness also means it can be used for whole-body washing in MRE-contaminated patients. The hood used is made of a latex-free, very durable material and can be preheated if necessary.

Application

Carefully remove the washing cap from the packaging, unfold it and place it on your head so that all hair is covered. Massage the solution thoroughly and leave it on for at least 1 minute.

Application instructions

Do not use if you have a known intolerance to chlorhexidine or on injured skin. Avoid penetration of the soaking liquid into the inner ear and eyes.
To be heated in the microwave (750 W - 15 seconds). Microwave times may vary. Before using the hood, ensure that it is not too hot. Do not reheat packages that have already been opened. The washing cap is intended for one-time use only.
